You are invited to join the Alaska Trucking Association in a family fun event at the Alaska State Fairgrounds.  The 9th Annual Truck Driving Championship will be held in conjunction with the 5th Annual Spit ‘N Shine Contest.  Come and see the best of the best compete for the title of Overall Champion.

Participants in the Truck Driving
Championship are scored on:

          * a written knowledge test
          * a personal interview
          * pre-trip inspection
          * skills course

Drivers can participate in one of the
four following categories:

          * Straight Truck
          * 5-Axle Tractor Trailer
          * 5-Axle Flatbed
          * 5-Axle Sleeper Berth

While enjoying your day vote for your favorite truck in the 5th Annual Spit ‘N  Shine Competition.  Drivers from all over the state bring their rigs to the fairgrounds to show-off  shined chrome and customizations.  Get a rare peak inside a big rig and vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice Award.
